Trim Removal and Fender Replacement

Trim removal took all of three minutes. Used a prybar to break the rivots. Now just need to weld the hold closed.

Installed new fender off other Z. The fender off the 71' was too rusted. Took about two hours. Tons of rusted and stuck nuts and bolts. Used almost a whole can of wd-40.

Interior Upgrades 1/17/2010

Took me about six hours to add a dash cover, recaro seats, center console, steering wheel, and clean the interior.

71' Datsun 240z purchase to restore

Cost was $1400, plus radiator cap. Bought in Bakersfield, Ca. and then drove it to Fresno two days later. Drove home OK, needs struts, and weatherstripping. I intend to modify the whole nine yards. Brakes, suspension, interior, and the ever powerful rb25det, 280HP engine found in the Nissan Skyline.
