Bad vacuumn advance
I just tested the vacumn advance and realized it was bad. The seal is blown. That's why there wasn't a lot of pull after about 5000rpm. Need to buy one and then the car is good to go.

DATSUN 240Z BUILD
I just recently purchased a 71' Datsun 240z. Currently has the 2.4 liter engine in the car, as well as all suspension and brake systems are factory.
Recent upgrades and cost effective ones as noted will be done until the car is painted:
-----Four to Five speed conversion
-Centerforce Stage II clutch
-Stainless clutch hose
-----Wheels- XXR 16X8
-----Nology Spark Plug wires
-----280zx electronic ignition
-----Suspension
-MSA sway bar
-MSA strut bars
-Energy Suspension bushings -
Front installed
-Eibach springs
-Tockico 5 way adjustable Shocks
-Brakes-four piston Toyota P/U brakes
-----Interior
-Recaro Seats
-Shift Light
-------------------------------------------
Premise of the Blog:
Transform the 240z into a quick SCCA autocross car
Handle 1.1 g on the skidpad
Run a 13.9 1/4 mile
Paint Orange
and remain a daily driver with a/c, heater, and radio
